Pemalang Regent Arrested in KPK Sting Operation; Wealth Reported at Rp 21 Billion

Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro was apprehended in a sting operation by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on July 28, 2026. His declared wealth stood at Rp 21 billion as of December 31, 2025, according to his report to the KPK.

The largest portion of his assets, totaling Rp 12 billion, consists of land and buildings located across various cities including Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang, and Pemalang. Widiyantoro also reported owning vehicles valued at Rp 1 billion, including a Kawasaki Ninja RR, Yamaha RX-King, Honda Supra, Piaggio Primavera, Gesits, Honda Mio, and a Harley-Davidson. Three cars were also listed: a Honda HR-V, a Honda CR-V, and a Mercedes-Benz E300.

As of July 29, 2026, the KPK had not revealed the specific corruption charges that led to Widiyantoro's arrest. However, KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto confirmed the operation.
