For the next glorious 25 years, we will launch a fireworks festival reshaping project, allowing the fireworks to return to their role as guiding beacons.

Recognizing the festival's established brand and the risk of imitation, Wu's proposal aims to ensure Penghu retains its unique appeal. The strategy, dubbed "Project Phoenix," focuses on five key areas for innovation. These include strategically limiting the scope and diversifying themes to create "limited time, limited content, limited experience" events, thereby increasing their scarcity and appeal. The initiative also seeks to move beyond simple fireworks displays by enhancing pyrotechnic design, stage performances, and integrating local culture and storytelling.

It also aims to attract international attention by inviting top international fireworks teams and performing artists, positioning Penghu as a hub for pyrotechnic artistry and cultural exchange. The integration of drone technology, smart lighting, 5G interactive features, and augmented reality (AR) is intended to create futuristic, engaging night performances that capture public imagination.
