Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 Prices Hold as Other Fuel Grades Rise

Pertamina Patra Niaga raised prices for three non-subsidized fuel products in Indonesia but left Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 at their previous levels.

Effective Sept. 1, Pertamax Turbo increased from 18,300 rupiah to 19,600 rupiah per liter. Dexlite rose from 19,700 rupiah to 23,700 rupiah, while Pertamina Dex climbed from 21,150 rupiah to 25,200 rupiah per liter.

Kitty Andhora, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s vice president for corporate communications, said the company had considered economic factors, consumers’ purchasing power and social conditions. The adjustment also followed the government’s formula, which takes account of global crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, taxes and other factors linked to purchasing power.

The company said Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 would continue to sell at their previous prices. It urged consumers to buy fuel according to their needs and select products that match their vehicles’ specifications. The price adjustment applies only to some non-subsidized fuel products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite, while other non-subsidized products such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 have not been adjusted.
