Peruvian Teen Genius Earns Full Scholarships to Three Prestigious U.S. Universities

A brilliant young mind from Peru, Richard Fabián Simon Lozano, has achieved a remarkable feat, securing admission to three top-tier U.S. universities with full scholarships to pursue his passion for Neuroscience. At just 19 years old, Lozano's academic prowess has opened doors to institutions like Williams College, Pomona College, and Arizona State University.

Lozano, who hails from Lima and is a celebrated Biology champion, credits the Beca Cometa initiative for playing a pivotal role in his journey. This program provided him with essential academic, informational, and psychological support, guiding him through the complex application process for U.S. higher education. "It was the beginning of everything. I went from knowing almost nothing about the process to understanding how to apply and what opportunities existed," Lozano stated.

His dedication is evident in his exceptional performance on standardized tests. Lozano achieved a score of 1520 out of 1600 on the SAT, placing him in the top 2% internationally, and demonstrated advanced English proficiency. His choice of Williams College, ranked number one for Liberal Arts in the U.S., stems from its flexible curriculum and close-knit academic environment, which he believes will foster his rigorous pursuit of knowledge.

He is set to depart for the United States in late August to commence his studies on September 10th, embarking on a four-year academic adventure.
