Kaczyński has publicly appealed for a ceasefire within the party, urging colleagues to "take a breath and a sip of cold water." He warned that internal squabbles play into the hands of their opponents, stating, "The enemy is elsewhere." His remarks suggest a concern that the ongoing public disagreements are weakening PiS at a critical juncture.

Morawiecki highlighted the current government's struggles, including numerous scandals, healthcare crises, and coalition conflicts, as reasons why PiS cannot afford internal division.

The dispute raises questions about the future leadership and direction of PiS, particularly concerning Morawiecki's potential as a successor to Kaczyński. While Morawiecki is a recognizable figure and was favored by many PiS voters as a future prime minister, his style as a public speaker and his charismatic leadership qualities remain subjects of debate.
