PKS Chairman Visits Football School to Celebrate National Children's Day

PKS Party Chairman Almuzzammil Yusuf, also known as Bang Jamil, visited the Garuda Muda Mataram Football School in Mataram on Thursday, July 23, 2026, to commemorate National Children's Day. During his visit, he offered football tips and conducted joint training sessions with the young players.

"The children training today are the future national team seeds. The momentum of National Children's Day must increase seriousness in early-age football development. The state, society, and political parties all share the responsibility of nurturing their dreams," Bang Jamil stated. He asserted that national football talent management should not be concentrated solely in major cities, believing that regions like West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) can produce potential young players with proper development and competition.

"Football talent is evenly distributed throughout Indonesia, including in NTB. It must be supported by equal opportunities and quality development. If children in the regions have the same access to training facilities, competitions, and support, I am confident many great players will emerge from here," Bang Jamil added. He also shared his personal experience, having been part of the DKI Jakarta U-16 team that won the POPSI 1981 and later played in an exhibition match in Japan. This background fuels his understanding of the SSB Garuda Muda Mataram players' dreams.

To provide concrete support, Bang Jamil presented development funds to SSB Garuda Muda Mataram and SSB Lombok Timur, along with footballs and other training equipment. He described this assistance as a tangible contribution to the regional football ecosystem, aiming for its sustainable continuation.
