The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has taken a significant step towards modernizing its public services with the launch of an integrated online reporting system accessible through the Super App Polri. This innovative platform allows citizens to file official police reports and report lost items from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need for in-person visits to police stations for initial reporting. The introduction of this feature, unveiled during the Polri IT Committee Coordination Meeting, underscores a commitment to enhancing transparency, accountability, and accessibility in law enforcement. Deputy Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo highlighted that the app, available on both the App Store and Play Store, offers a practical and efficient way for the public to engage with police services anytime and anywhere. Furthermore, the integration of a Police Report Consultation Engine, enabling real-time video conferencing and live chat with officers, signifies a move towards more interactive and responsive policing.
