Portable challenges Terry G to boxing match, citing career revival

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has issued a public challenge to veteran artist Terry G, proposing a boxing match between them. Portable expressed his belief that such a bout would serve to revive Terry G's fading career, emphasizing his preference for facing fellow entertainers over social media personalities.

During an appearance on Channels Television's "Rubbin Minds" on Sunday, Portable declared himself the pioneer of celebrity boxing in Nigeria. He claimed to have generated millions of naira from previous boxing matches. Looking ahead, he confirmed his scheduled July 31 rematch with actor Charles Okocha in Lagos, expressing confidence that this contest would draw a substantial audience.

Portable outlined his ambitious post-Terry G fight plans. "If I defeat Terry G, I will travel to London before embarking on a tour of the United States, Russia, Malaysia, Dubai and South Africa," he stated, projecting a global reach following the proposed boxing event.

Portable also clarified his disinterest in engaging in boxing matches with social media influencers like VeryDarkMan and Carter Efe, reiterating his focus on established entertainers.
