PRI leader alleges federal government behind grenade attack on party offices

Mexico's Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) has accused the federal government of orchestrating an attack on its regional offices in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, following the discovery of a live fragmentation grenade inside the building. PRI President Alejandro Moreno decried the incident as an attempt to intimidate and silence the opposition.

"They want to intimidate us, they want to silence us, they want to bend us, they want to shut us up, but it won't happen," Moreno stated, directly holding the federal government and President Claudia Sheinbaum responsible for any potential harm.
