Production Base in Chong-Kemin Nature Park Returned to State

The Prosecutor's Office of the Kemin district has successfully reclaimed a valuable production base and its associated land within the Chong-Kemin Nature Park, returning it to state ownership. This action follows an investigation that uncovered the illegal privatization of this protected natural area and its facilities.

The probe determined that the base and one hectare of land, situated within a specially protected natural zone, had been unlawfully transferred to private hands. The Prosecutor's Office initiated measures to rectify this illegal appropriation, resulting in the recovery of the property.

This successful reclamation underscores the importance of protecting natural reserves and ensuring that state assets are not misappropriated. The recovered base and land, with a combined value exceeding 103 million Kyrgyz soms, will now be managed under state control, safeguarding this part of the Chong-Kemin Nature Park from private exploitation.
