Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has issued a strong call to action for the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership in the Southwest, emphasizing the critical need to actively promote President Bola Tinubu's accomplishments. Speaking in Ado Ekiti, Oyebanji stressed that the party's executives must go beyond internal meetings and engage in robust public relations to ensure Nigerians, especially those at the grassroots, are fully aware of the administration's positive impact.

The President’s decision to immediately free resources to the sub-national as a way of improving and rescuing the economy from collapse, turned the situation around.

Governor Oyebanji articulated that President Tinubu's tenure, though brief, has already seen significant strides in economic stabilization and infrastructure development. He specifically pointed to the "Renewed Hope Agenda" as a guiding principle that has led to the "freeing of resources to the sub-national" level, thereby averting economic collapse. The governor's remarks suggest a proactive stance against what he perceives as opposition attempts to undermine the government's gains, urging party members to counter such narratives with "verifiable facts."
