"Qionglin Limited" Exhibition to Open in Taiwan, Showcasing Local Culture

Hsinchu County's Qionglin Township is set to unveil a new cultural exhibition, "Qionglin Limited," on August 6. Hosted at the historic Jinyufeng Rice Mill, a designated cultural asset, the exhibition aims to immerse visitors in the unique heritage of the township's 12 villages.

The exhibition is designed to highlight various facets of Qionglin's identity, including its rich cultural landscapes, religious traditions, and local produce. Specific sections will delve into the history of the 91-year-old Jinyufeng Rice Mill, offering insights into the milling process. Other displays will explore the ancient trails of Feifeng Mountain and the intricate irrigation systems that have sustained the region.

"Qionglin Limited" will also feature a dedicated "Worship Culture Area," showcasing deities from local Hakka temples and documenting the Zhongyuan Festival rituals at the Guangfu Temple, emphasizing local spirit and community cohesion. Additional themes include a timeline of Qionglin's history, a focus on each of the 12 villages, Hakka culinary culture, and traditional tools and farming implements.

To complement the exhibition, four cultural lectures are scheduled. These sessions will feature local historians and cultural experts discussing Qionglin's significant landmarks and heritage. Furthermore, a stamp-collecting event encourages visitors to explore designated spots in the 12 villages. Upon collecting five stamps, participants can redeem an exclusive Qionglin souvenir stand at the exhibition venue after August 20.
