Quang Tri police province reshuffles five department heads

The Quang Tri Provincial Police have announced the reassignment of five key department heads, a move aimed at strengthening leadership and adapting to evolving security needs. The reshuffled positions include leadership roles in economic security, economic police, and the fight against drug trafficking.

Colonel Cao Ngoc Lam, formerly head of Economic Security, will now serve as the Chief of the Inspection Committee and Party Committee of the Provincial Police. Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam, previously leading the Economic Police department, has been appointed as the new head of Economic Security.

The rearrangement and assignment of leading officials are to continue to perfect the organization, meeting the requirements of ensuring security and order and building the force in the new situation.

Colonel Tran Duc Duong transitions from Chief of the Inspection Committee to head the Economic Police. Lieutenant Colonel Ho Sy Dong, who led the Anti-Drug Crime Investigation department, will now be the Chief of the Investigation Police Office. Lieutenant Colonel Duong Duc Thuan moves from Chief of the Investigation Police Office to head the Anti-Drug Crime Investigation department.

Major General Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, presided over the announcement ceremony. He stressed that the personnel changes are crucial for consolidating the organizational structure and enhancing the force's capacity to maintain security and order. Liem urged the newly appointed officials to quickly assume their responsibilities, grasp the situation, and lead their departments effectively, particularly in combating crime, including drugs, economic offenses, and predatory lending.
