Real Madrid sign Levante striker Espi

Real Madrid has secured the signing of promising young striker Carlos Espi from Levante UD, adding the 21-year-old to their ranks for a reported fee of 25 million euros ($29 million). The transfer marks a significant move for the 15-time European champions as they aim to rebuild their squad.

Espi, who netted 11 goals in 25 La Liga appearances last season, has committed his future to Real Madrid, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2031. Despite reported interest from several Premier League clubs, Madrid moved swiftly to secure the talented forward.

This acquisition makes Espi the fifth new arrival at Real Madrid this summer. He joins previously signed players Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, and Denzel Dumfries. Reports also suggest the club is close to agreeing terms with RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande and is rumored to be interested in Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
