Recoleta FC aims for victory to continue Copa Sudamericana run

Recoleta FC embarks on a crucial mission Tuesday: defeat San Lorenzo de Almagro in Buenos Aires to keep their Copa Sudamericana dreams alive. The modest Paraguayan club has surprised in its international debut by drawing all five of its previous group stage matches.

The team's resilience has earned them five consecutive draws in a challenging group that includes continental giants Santos and San Lorenzo, alongside Ecuador's Deportivo Cuenca. Now, in the final group match at the Nuevo Gasómetro stadium, Recoleta FC must elevate its performance to secure a victory.

Currently, San Lorenzo leads Group D with 7 points, followed by Deportivo Cuenca with 6. Recoleta FC sits third with 5 points, and Santos has 4.
