Residents from Prečko outraged by the location of underground containers: 'They placed them five meters from the building entrance and took three parking spots'

Residents of Prečko, specifically in Lhotkina Street, are expressing strong dissatisfaction with the recent installation of underground waste containers. The core of their complaint lies in the chosen location: positioned mere meters from their building entrance and, crucially, occupying three previously available parking spots. This decision, made apparently without prior notification to the affected tenants, has sparked significant frustration and a sense of disregard from the authorities.

They've placed them five meters from the entrance. Tomorrow, when the containers are full and people start leaving trash outside, it will end up at our doors and in the entrance. They are placed too close.

The residents' primary concern is the proximity of the containers to their homes. They fear that overflowing bins will lead to waste accumulating directly in front of their doors and within the building's entrance, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant living environment. This is not a hypothetical fear; it's a direct consequence of what they perceive as a poorly planned and executed municipal project. They didn't put up any notice. They just came the day before yesterday morning, started digging, and this morning I see they've already put the containers inside.
