Resort donates bunk beds to RKS

Twenty students at Ratu Kadavulevu School will now have improved hostel accommodation thanks to a generous donation from the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji. The Denarau-based resort provided 10 double bunk beds to Bure Cakau House, the school's student hostel, ensuring more comfortable sleeping arrangements for students who live away from home while pursuing their education.

The initiative came about after the resort learned of the hostel's need for new beds. A visit to the school allowed the resort to assess the situation and determine how best to assist. School Principal Joseva Jale expressed his gratitude, stating that the donation will significantly enhance students' well-being and help them concentrate better on their studies.

Jale noted that the school had been anticipating such assistance for a considerable time, and the arrival of the new beds marks a meaningful improvement in the students' daily lives. Nikotimasi Delai, a representative from Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, emphasized the importance of providing every child with a safe and comfortable resting place, highlighting the crucial role of quality sleep in students' overall health, well-being, and academic success.
