Romania's Education Ministry Plans Financial Rewards for Top-Scoring Students

The Romanian Ministry of Education is preparing to offer financial incentives to students who achieve top marks in national examinations. A draft government decision outlining these rewards has been submitted for public debate.

This initiative aims to recognize and encourage academic excellence. This year, a total of 100 students achieved the highest possible score of 10. Specifically, 93 students excelled in the Baccalaureate exam, a crucial test for high school graduates, while 7 students attained a perfect score on the National Evaluation, which assesses students completing the eighth grade.

The ministry's proposal seeks to provide tangible recognition for these outstanding academic achievements. The public debate phase allows for input and feedback on the proposed measures before they are finalized and implemented.
