Romeny and Hubner start as Fortuna Sittard beat Cambuur 3-1

Fortuna Sittard secured a 3-1 victory over Cambuur in their second Eredivisie match of the 2026/27 season, with Indonesian national team players Ole Romeny and Justin Hubner featuring in the starting lineup. The win at Fortuna Sittard Stadium maintained the home team's unbeaten start to the season and propelled them to second place in the temporary standings with four points.

Hubner played as a defender alongside Syb van Ottele and Pinto, while Romeny operated as an attacking midfielder with Mohammed Ihattaren, supporting striker Lequincio Zeefuik. Romeny immediately posed a threat in the fifth minute with a long-range shot, which was saved by Cambuur's goalkeeper Thijs Jansen. Fortuna Sittard took the lead a minute later through a corner-kick header by Philip Brittijn.

Fortuna Sittard finally sealed their victory in second-half injury time with a third goal from Shiloh Zand.
