Rudy Susmanto Strengthens Development Synergy with Provincial Government

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto actively participated in the High-Level Meeting of the West Java Provincial Development Planning (Musrenbang) for the 2027 Regional Development Plan (RKPD). This engagement underscores the critical importance of fostering strong synergy between the Bogor Regency Government and the Provincial Government of West Java. As a region housing approximately 12 percent of West Java's total population, Bogor faces substantial and complex public service demands, making its role in provincial development particularly strategic.

Entering the third year of his leadership, Regent Susmanto articulated his expectations for enhanced support and collaboration from the Provincial Government. His focus areas include crucial sectors like infrastructure and basic public services. Specifically, he stressed the necessity for coordinated program implementation, particularly concerning public street lighting (PJU), to ensure that projects are effectively targeted and meet the actual needs of the community. Furthermore, attention was drawn to the condition of several provincial roads within Bogor Regency that require urgent attention, with the regency government having already undertaken temporary measures to ensure user safety and comfort.

In the health sector, Bogor Regency's commitment to public healthcare is evident in its substantial annual funding for the National Health Security Program (BPJS Kesehatan), nearing Rp 1 trillion. Continued support from the Provincial Government is vital to bolster the capacity of healthcare services in the region. Bogor Regency has also affirmed its readiness to collaborate on development priorities, believing that a clear division of roles will optimize strategic programs at both regency and provincial levels, ultimately benefiting the wider community. The Regent's participation and the signing of a cooperation agreement for health financing in West Java signify a shared commitment to improving healthcare access and quality for all residents.
