Russian Attacks on Two Kherson Districts Injure Two Children and Three Adults

Russian forces attacked residential areas in two districts of Kherson on the evening of 5 September, injuring two children and three adults, according to the Kherson City Military Administration.

At about 9 p.m., a drone struck an apartment in a multi-storey residential building in the Dniprovskyi district while people were inside. Two adults and two children suffered injuries. An 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy and a 36-year-old woman were taken to hospital with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.

A 39-year-old man also sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds from broken glass. Medics treated him at the scene.

About 45 minutes later, Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone near a house in the Korabelnyi district. Debris flew through the window of a flat and injured a 27-year-old resident. He suffered a blast injury, a closed head injury, concussion and a shrapnel wound to the head.
