Russian forces lost 1,130 personnel in Ukraine over past day, claims Kyiv

Ukrainian defense forces reported that Russian troops suffered approximately 1,130 casualties in the past 24 hours, as part of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This figure contributes to the cumulative estimated losses for the Russian military since the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022.

According to the latest figures, total Russian losses, encompassing both killed and wounded personnel, are estimated to have reached around 1,457,740. The Ukrainian military regularly updates these figures, which are subject to ongoing verification.

In addition to personnel losses, Ukrainian forces claim to have destroyed a substantial amount of Russian military hardware. These reported destroyed assets include 12,253 tanks (+2 in the last day), 25,103 armored combat vehicles (+4), 47,621 artillery systems (+41), and 2,013 multiple rocket launcher systems (+4). The report also details the destruction of 1,556 air defense systems, 439 warplanes, and 354 helicopters.

Further equipment losses claimed by Ukraine include 2,171 unmanned aerial systems, 451,248 tactical drones (+1,642), 5,007 cruise missiles, 35 warships or cutters, and 2 submarines. Significant numbers of vehicles and fuel tankers, totaling 131,775 (+358), and 4,505 units of special equipment have also reportedly been destroyed.

The report also noted that 142 clashes between Ukrainian and Russian forces were recorded along the front lines on Saturday. Specifically, in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces are said to have neutralized over 50 Russian soldiers.
