'Rytas' roster - newcomer from the USA

Vilniaus "Rytas" has bolstered its roster with the addition of American guard Michael Devoe, a move the club's sports director, Artūras Jomantas, believes will significantly strengthen the team. Jomantas praised Devoe as a "talented and versatile defender" capable of playing multiple positions, highlighting his strong court vision and ability to both finish plays and create opportunities for teammates.

Devoe brings valuable European experience, having most recently played for Ankaras "Turk Telekom" in Turkey during the 2025-2026 season. In the EuroCup, he averaged 9.0 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 rebounds over 20 games. He also contributed 9.6 points and 3.2 assists per game in the Turkish league, shooting 41.4% from three-point range.

Before his European stint, Devoe had a notable career in the U.S. college system, playing for Georgia Tech, where he led the team to an ACC championship title in 2021 and was named the tournament's most valuable player. He also experienced success at Montverde Academy, winning a national championship alongside future NBA stars. After a brief period in the NBA G League, Devoe transitioned to Europe, where he won the German Cup with "Syntainics MBC" and was named the Final Four's most valuable player.
