Sakanaction wins Best Rock Band and Best Anime Song at 2026 MUSIC JAPAN awards

Japanese band Sakanaction has clinched the Best Rock Band/Solo Artist award at the 2026 MUSIC JAPAN (MAJ) awards, a ceremony often dubbed "Japan's Grammys." The group also took home the Best Anime Song award for their track "Monster," featured in the anime "On the Other Side of the Sky."

Sakanaction's victory in the rock category, which included strong contenders like King Gnu and ONE OK ROCK, highlights their significant impact on the music scene.
