Samyuk University graduates 11 senior models from advanced course

Samyuk University celebrated the graduation of 11 senior models from its SU-MVP Senior Model Advanced Course Basic 4th term. The ceremony took place on July 28 at the university's International Education Hall, with university president Jae-jong Hae and other officials in attendance.

The "Well-aging" and "New Senior" trend has spurred demand for programs supporting mid-life and older adults' new challenges. Samyuk's non-degree course aims to systematically cultivate the expertise senior models need.

Over 14 weeks, the Basic 4th term covered fashion show trends, walking and posing techniques, performance, nutrition and health management, fashion styling, image making, and speech. Graduates honed practical skills through a final fashion show presentation, marking their new beginnings as senior models.

President Hae congratulated the graduates, stating, "As the saying goes, 'There is no age for challenges,' I congratulate your achievements that have overcome limitations." He expressed his hope that they would "confidently play on the stage of life, beyond the runway."

An advanced course, designed for graduates seeking leadership roles, will begin in September. This 14-week program will delve into specialized walking instruction, lecture planning and operation, and teaching methodologies for seniors. Completing this course leads to certification as a professional walking instructor, enabling graduates to work as instructors at community centers and sports facilities.
