The General Real Estate Authority (Heraa) has officially launched a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the real estate sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: the commencement of comprehensive real estate registration in the Makkah region. The General Real Estate Authority announced the start of real estate registration for (148) real estate parcels in the Makkah region, starting next Sunday until the end of Thursday, August 6, 2026, corresponding to 23 Safar 1448 AH.

Starting this Sunday and extending until August 6, 2026, the registration process will encompass 148 distinct real estate parcels. The initial phase targets specific neighborhoods within Makkah, including parts of Al-Taysir, Al-Hindawiyah, Jarham Al-Shamali, Jarwal, Al-Rasifah, and Al-Zahra. The selection of these areas was based on defined criteria, and the authority has assured that further announcements will detail subsequent phases covering other regions and governorates across the Kingdom.

The neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry in this phase in the Makkah region include: (part of Al-Taysir neighborhood, part of Al-Hindawiyah neighborhood, part of Jarham Al-Shamali neighborhood, part of Jarwal neighborhood, part of Al-Rasifah neighborhood, part of Al-Zahra neighborhood).

This endeavor is designed to bolster real estate reliability and transparency. Upon successful registration, each property unit will receive a unique 'real estate number' and a title deed.
