Saudi Arabia Showcases Environmental Leadership Under "Your Impact is Green" Slogan

Under the slogan "Your Impact is Green," Saudi Arabia is actively demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development during the "Saudi Environment Week 2026." This initiative, launched by the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Fadli, underscores the Kingdom's comprehensive approach to environmental protection, integrating efforts across government, private, and non-profit sectors.

The Kingdom is not just talking about change; it is showcasing tangible achievements. Protected areas have expanded more than fourfold, waste recycling rates have tripled, and a remarkable one million hectares of land have been rehabilitated, complemented by the planting of 159 million trees. These figures represent a significant transformation in the nation's environmental landscape, aligning with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030.

Beyond domestic efforts, Saudi Arabia is asserting its leadership on the global stage.
