Search for armed individual in Reykjavik continues

Reykjavik police conducted an overnight search in the city center for an individual carrying an electric shock weapon. Despite the search, neither the suspect nor the weapon have been located. The incident was reported in the police log for the capital area.

In the same police district, which covers eastern, central, and western Reykjavik, as well as Seltjarnarnes, officers arrested one person for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. The individual was reportedly damaging vehicles and harassing people.

Other incidents logged by the police include a break-in at a musical instrument store, a speeding violation, and an arrest for driving under the influence of narcotics. In a separate area, police responded to a noise complaint at a residence, only to find young people playing video games.

Additionally, officers were called to assist an intoxicated man who was disoriented and attempting to enter a private home.
