Selangor Education Department Cooperates with Police on Student Brawl Investigation

The Selangor State Education Department (JPN Selangor) is fully cooperating with the ongoing police investigation into a brawl involving a group of students that recently went viral. The department confirmed that the incident is currently under police inquiry.

JPN Selangor emphasized its zero-tolerance policy towards any acts of violence involving its students. "Firm action will be taken against anyone found guilty," the department stated. "At the same time, guidance and counseling interventions are being implemented for the students involved."

Authorities are urging the public to refrain from speculation and the dissemination of unverified information. The department highlighted that spreading the identities of minors involved in such cases is illegal under existing laws. The incident reportedly occurred on July 3, involving a 16-year-old male student and his father who were allegedly assaulted in front of a secondary school in Seri Kembangan.
