The Democratic Party's bill, officially titled the "Act on the Appointment of Special Prosecutors to Investigate Truths of Alleged Fabricated Investigations and Prosecutions by the Yoon Suk-yeol Administration's Prosecutors' Office, National Intelligence Service, Board of Audit and Inspection, etc.," was introduced on April 30th, with plans to push for its passage in May. The party argues that these investigations were politically motivated and constitute "judicial manipulation."
