She expected Mislav to be nervous, but Silvija says he has taken to fatherhood with ease

Silvija Vlašić expected her husband Mislav to feel nervous as a new father. Instead, she says, he has been remarkably relaxed.

The couple, whom viewers met and who fell in love on RTL’s “Life on the Scales,” became parents to a daughter named Antonela two months ago. In her first interview since the birth, Silvija described the period as a new chapter focused on building a family and caring for a small child.

We would describe this period as a time of togetherness and the creation of a new chapter in life, namely the chapter of creating a family and caring for a small being.

She said the couple organizes each day around Antonela’s needs. When the baby sleeps in the morning, they have breakfast, go for coffee or take a walk. They handle household tasks while she sleeps, and spend time with her when she is awake. Afternoons bring rest or visits to the grandparents, followed by bathing and putting the baby to sleep in the evening.

The most beautiful thing was that during that period we could be just the three of us and that we created a strong bond.

Antonela was born on June 30. Mislav recently shared a photograph of himself with his daughter, both wearing Dinamo Zagreb shirts, while he added the song “The Sky in Dinamo’s Colors” by the Zaprešić Boys. The couple had also announced the pregnancy in February while wearing Dinamo shirts and holding a tiny number 26 jersey.

Silvija said Mislav had helped extensively with the baby. “So far, Mislav has changed more diapers, while I have gotten up more often during the night because all her food is with me,” she said.
