The Beloved Series Returns: When Kumovi Comes Back and What Will Happen in Zaglave

Kumovi is returning to Nova TV with new episodes, and life in Zaglave is about to become more complicated. The series resumes on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 8:15 p.m., with intrigue, unexpected turns and situations that could spiral out of control.

Ahead of the return, the cast looked back at the series’ beginnings and at the relationships that developed among their characters. Petra Kraljev said she had become deeply connected to Milica after five years in the role. “Milica has become part of me. I have grown together with her over these five years. But my colleague Mijo, or Šank, has grown together with her too, and people on the street usually ask us about each other. It is a symbiosis.”

Kraljev also recalled the cast’s first joint rehearsal, when Milica, Šank and Zvone formed the municipal team. She joked that she was “most proud that I managed to cope with Mijo and Stojan,” while praising Stojan as a senior colleague and mentor who helped turn the group into a close-knit team. “Stojan was our mentor, an older colleague who helped us through his simplicity and openness and made us become a team.”

The actors also admitted that they did not expect the series to last so long. A planned traffic light in Zaglave causes further trouble when officials choose the wrong location, angering Martin. Luce, meanwhile, confronts a suspension. Ana Uršula Najev said viewers would see Luce in a different light as new characters arrive, but that her struggle would not be easy.
