Širvintos City Festival Begins with Concerts and Family Fun

Širvintos is celebrating its annual city festival, transforming the town center into a hub of activity for residents and visitors. Festivities kicked off in the morning with a vibrant market and entertainment zones, alongside educational activities, creative workshops, and outdoor games designed for all ages.

Younger attendees are being treated to interactive performances by the Alytus Puppet Theater "Aitvaras." Meanwhile, the Širvintos beach area is also hosting a variety of attractions, including horse riding.

As evening approaches, the main events will move to the square near the "Širvinta" sculpture. The celebration will officially commence with a welcome address from the Mayor of Širvintos District, Živilė Pinskuvienė. The evening's entertainment lineup includes performances by Martynas Kavaliauskas, Gabrielius Vagelis, Paulina Paukštaitytė, and Kastytis Kerbedis.

The city festival is set to conclude with a spectacular fireworks display, followed by a disco with DJ Senjasa, promising a lively end to the day's festivities.
