Singer Andi Bernadee expresses his longing to return to the stage after a six-month break dedicated to his health. The hiatus was prompted by his battle with autoimmune hyperthyroidism, a condition that significantly impacted his physical well-being.

He described the feeling of returning to the industry as almost surreal, acknowledging that regaining his rhythm as an entertainer after a prolonged absence requires time. The singer experienced symptoms such as sudden weight loss, muscle spasms, and trembling before realizing the severity of his illness.

I feel I need to start this journey again. It's not like I've lost my memory or anything, but when you haven't done what you usually do for so long, getting back into the rhythm takes a little time.

Bernadee revealed he lived with the symptoms for nearly a year, initially dismissing them and continuing to work. It was only when his condition worsened that he acknowledged it as a serious illness. Now, with his thyroid levels stabilizing, he has resumed exercising and has regained his normal weight. He also noted that his physical condition has improved significantly.

To be honest, I've actually been living with this for almost a year. But I denied all the symptoms that were there.

In addition to his comeback, Bernadee has released his first full album in almost a decade, titled 'Ding Geding'. He considers this a major accomplishment, especially given the personal challenges he faced during its production. The album's creation demanded substantial commitment in terms of energy, creativity, and finances, making its completion a source of deep satisfaction for him.

I think it's a success for me. Even though people measure album success by the number of streams or how often the song is played, I have successfully gone through the process of creating this album.
