Six 'Pueblo Unido' Gang Members Arrested in Tabasco Following Leader's Capture

Authorities in Tabasco have arrested six individuals identified as members of the criminal organization 'Pueblo Unido.' The arrests were made during a strategic operation conducted across several properties in the state capital by elements of the Inter-institutional Force for Tactical Reaction (FIRT) Olmeca.

The individuals apprehended have been identified as Carlos 'N,' Rodolfo 'N' (alias 'Rodas'), Celia 'N,' Yiye 'N' (alias 'Yiyo'), Raúl 'N' (alias 'Chelo'), and Cristian 'N' (alias 'El Diablo'). They are accused of being key figures in generating violence within the region.

During the tactical intervention, law enforcement seized significant assets, including two long firearms, a .45 caliber pistol, multiple magazines, a total of 52 live rounds of ammunition, and various doses of illicit substances. These items were confiscated as evidence.

These arrests occurred just hours after Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Public Security and Citizen Protection, confirmed the detention of Jorge Luis de la Cruz León, also known as 'El Koki,' in Hidalgo. 'El Koki' is considered the leader of 'Pueblo Unido' and was a priority target for authorities. He faces arrest warrants for criminal association and home invasion. He was also reportedly an operator for Ulises Pinto Madera, alias 'El Pinto,' who led the group 'La Barredora' and was arrested in July 2025.

Both the detained individuals and the seized evidence have been handed over to the competent authorities. An investigation has been initiated to determine their legal status and proceed with the corresponding legal actions.
