A special prosecutor's investigation into lingering cases has uncovered potentially explosive details regarding the Defense Counterintelligence Command (DCIC). The team announced on April 4th that they have confirmed evidence suggesting the DCIC was preparing for martial law as early as the first half of 2024. Special Prosecutor Kim Ji-mi stated during a briefing that investigations into DCIC officials have yielded indications of martial law preparations.
