Sports Ministry Partners with Agriculture Ministry to Boost Asian Games Support, Aiming for a Win-Win

Taiwan's Ministry of Culture is joining forces with the Ministry of Agriculture to enhance support for athletes competing in the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Minister Lee Yang led a delegation to meet with agricultural officials, agreeing to integrate resources for national team preparation and the promotion of Taiwanese agricultural products.

This collaboration addresses the critical nutritional needs of athletes during intense training and competition. The Ministry of Agriculture, through its various agencies, will supply premium Taiwanese agricultural, fishery, and livestock products. This ensures athletes receive optimal nutrition, a factor Minister Lee Yang, a former national athlete himself, emphasized as crucial for performance and morale.
