Sri Semantan Opens 20th Branch in Johor

Kedai Emas Sri Semantan (KESS) has solidified its position in Malaysia's gold industry by opening its 20th branch in Kota Masai, Johor. This expansion marks a significant step in broadening the company's reach in the southern region of the country.

The newly inaugurated branch is not only KESS's second operational center in Johor, complementing its existing Batu Pahat outlet, but also functions as Wisma Sri Semantan. This central office will oversee and coordinate KESS's operations across Johor, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan.

Mohamad Hafizal Mahmood, Chairman and Founder of KESS, officiated the opening, alongside Board Directors Sharif Saman and Shaaini Md. Jumaat.

Shaaini Md. Jumaat noted that Kota Masai was chosen for its strategic location and potential to attract customers from Singapore. Previously, many Singaporean customers traveled to KESS branches in Shah Alam and Kajang. The new Kota Masai branch offers them easier access and is expected to be a catalyst for new growth in the southern region. To celebrate the opening, KESS is offering a RM20 discount per gram on gold purchases for two days, in addition to its ongoing offer of preloved gold with no wage charges.
