Stab wounds to the neck caused deaths of three family members

Autopsies have confirmed that three members of a family found dead in a Kuala Lumpur condominium suffered fatal stab wounds, primarily to the neck and chest. The victims include a daughter, the wife, and a son, according to preliminary findings released by Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus.

The post-mortem examinations were conducted on the daughter, wife, and son, with all three cases identifying stab wounds as the cause of death. The autopsy for the suspect, the father and husband of the victims, was scheduled to take place after the scene examination was completed.

Initial investigations suggest a potential connection to love scams and illegal investment activities. Family members reportedly indicated that the deceased had been involved with such schemes, leading to significant financial losses and debts amounting to RM260,000. A note found on the dining table allegedly expressed the suspect's regret towards his wife for her continued contact with suspected scammers.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the precise motive and the sequence of events that led to the tragedy. The suspect, a 48-year-old man, is believed to have caused the deaths of his wife and two children before falling from their condominium unit in Desa ParkCity, Kepong.
