Stars Unite for Colombia Earthquake Relief Concert 'Voces por la vida'

A constellation of Colombian and international music stars, including Karol G, Miguel Bosé, Maluma, Sebastián Yatra, and Silvestre Dangond, are uniting for a special solidarity concert in Bogotá. Titled 'Voces por la vida' (Voices for Life), the event is scheduled for August 23rd and aims to raise crucial funds for those affected by the devastating magnitude 7.4 earthquake that recently struck Colombia.

The concert, to be held at Colombia's largest venue, Vive Claro, signifies a collective effort from the music industry to aid in the reconstruction of the most impacted zones. Organizers stated the industry's decision to "donate their work to help in the reconstruction of the most affected areas and contribute to families who lost their homes being able to have a roof again and start rebuilding their lives."

All proceeds from the concert will be channeled through Presentes Corporación, an organization dedicated to supporting reconstruction tasks in the areas hardest hit by the seismic event, which has already claimed over two hundred lives. The lineup of confirmed artists is extensive, featuring prominent names like Grupo Niche, Andrés Cepeda, Draco Rosa, and many others, showcasing a broad spectrum of Colombian musical talent.

Colombian superstar Karol G will participate remotely via livestream, collaborating with her Fundación Con Cora, which focuses on empowering vulnerable women and communities. The organizers highlighted that hundreds of individuals, from artists and promoters to technicians and media personnel, are contributing their time and resources without charging any fees, demonstrating a unified commitment to the cause. Ticket donations start at 100,000 Colombian pesos (approximately $32 USD).
