Structure collapses at CDMX Prosecutor's Office during renovation; two women injured

Two women were injured when a structure collapsed at the central offices of the Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México (FGJCDMX) on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred in an area undergoing renovation work at the building, located on Doctor José María Vértiz avenue in the Doctores neighborhood of the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office.

Emergency services and Civil Protection personnel quickly responded to the scene. They attended to the injured individuals and secured the area following the collapse. The FGJCDMX is situated on Doctor José María Vértiz avenue in the Doctores neighborhood.

Authorities reported that one of the injured women was transported to the Dr. Enrique Cabrera General Hospital in the Álvaro Obregón mayor's office for medical attention. The second woman, however, chose to leave the site under her own power and did not require hospitalization. Following the stabilization of the situation, workers began clearing debris and reinstalling safety barriers to ensure continued investigations and prevent further risks.
