Summer-Autumn 'Yeun' Sensory Afternoon Tea Feast: 'Radiant Black Rose' Fragrance at Taipei Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Taipei Mandarin Oriental Hotel's "Yeun" restaurant is presenting a unique "Radiant Black Rose" sensory afternoon tea, a cross-brand collaboration with the French luxury skincare brand Sisley Paris. This special offering is available from now until September 30, blending the pleasure of afternoon tea with the elegance of a high-end beauty brand.

The culinary creation is a joint effort by Executive Chef Feng Chun-chieh and Executive Pastry Chef Hu Li-yun. They drew inspiration from Sisley's iconic Black Rose collection, translating its luxurious texture and delicate fragrance into a visually stunning and flavorful experience. The desserts, crafted by Chef Hu, are designed to evoke the beauty of summer roses, featuring items like cherry jelly with vanilla cream madeleines and rose cream lychee cake.

Executive Chef Feng has prepared a selection of savory dishes using premium ingredients such as king crab, foie gras, and Matsusaka pork. These small bites aim to capture the essence of seasonal flavors, incorporating elements like spicy papaya king crab vol-au-vents and beetroot cream cheese bread. The afternoon tea set includes these exquisite sweets and savories, along with scones, homemade jams, and a choice of tea or coffee.

In addition to the culinary delights, guests who indulge in the "Radiant Black Rose" afternoon tea will receive a complimentary gift set from Sisley Paris.
