Suzuki Unveils Facelifted Seven-Seater XL7 SUV in Indonesia

Suzuki has launched a refreshed version of its seven-seater crossover SUV, the XL7, at the 2026 GIIAS auto show in Indonesia. The updated model boasts significant upgrades to both its exterior and interior design, aiming to present a more dynamic and upscale image.

The exterior receives a new grille and front bumper design, along with updated LED fog light housings, contributing to a more distinctive front fascia. The XL7 also features newly designed 16-inch wheels, with higher trims offering two-tone paint options and blacked-out styling kits for enhanced visual appeal. Inside, all variants are equipped with a 9-inch central touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Top-tier models further benefit from a 360-degree surround-view camera, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a digital video recorder (DVR) for increased safety and convenience.

While the XL7's dimensions are comparable to the Toyota Corolla Cross, its design prioritizes maximizing interior space for seven occupants, positioning it as a unique offering in the seven-seater crossover segment. Under the hood, the XL7 continues to be powered by a 1.5-liter K15B naturally aspirated gasoline engine, available with either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission, producing 105 horsepower. An optional SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) mild-hybrid system is available to improve fuel efficiency.

The facelifted XL7 is priced from 274.3 million Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $49,000 USD) and is slated to become a key global strategic model for Suzuki. The company aims to leverage this updated model to strengthen its presence in international markets.
