Sweden Sends Military Forces to Finland Amid Border Concerns

Sweden is sending military forces, including Gripen fighter jets and warships, to Finland, according to the Swedish national broadcaster. This decision comes after Finland requested military support, aiming to strengthen deterrence and defense capabilities along its border with Russia.

The deployment addresses a growing concern over repeated violations of Finnish airspace over the past year, involving both Russian military aircraft and Ukrainian drones that have crossed into Finnish territory.
