Tangerang Cooperative Jamboree Strengthens MSME Partnerships

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid emphasized the critical role of the Cooperative Jamboree in fostering collaboration between village cooperatives, established businesses, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Held from July 23-24, 2026, at the Kitribhakti Campsite in Curug District, the event aimed to enhance market access and strengthen the local economic ecosystem.

The jamboree, attended by 350 participants, focused on strengthening the network among economic actors and reinforcing local supply chains. The event provided training on modern cooperative management, MSME development, and entrepreneurship, enhancing the human resources driving the grassroots economy.

The Tangerang Regency Cooperative Jamboree is designed so that existing cooperatives and Village/Neighborhood Red and White Cooperatives can collaborate with each other.

Anna Ratna Maemunah, Head of the Tangerang Cooperative and Micro Business Office, added that the jamboree facilitates knowledge transfer between experienced cooperative officials and new village cooperative leaders. This process is expected to accelerate the strengthening of cooperative governance and management.
