In its opening weekend, from August 4 to 5, the season amassed over 296 million minutes of viewing time, according to Nielsen data cited by Variety.

This impressive figure not only marks the biggest premiere for any series on Apple TV+ but also signifies the show's continued strong performance since its debut. The first episode alone drew more than 200 million minutes of viewership in the United States on August 5, solidifying its position as a top performer. The success of 'Ted Lasso' surpasses other acclaimed Apple TV+ titles such as 'Severance' and 'Pluribus'.

Starring Jason Sudeikis as the titular character, 'Ted Lasso' has consistently broken audience records since its premiere on August 14, 2020. The series has also garnered significant critical acclaim, earning the most Emmy nominations for a comedy in its first season. The current season sees Ted Lasso returning to the British town of Richmond, where he takes on the challenging role of coaching a women's second-division soccer team.
