Tekman Civil Court Initiates Expropriation Lawsuit for Energy Transmission Line Project

The Tekman Civil Court of First Instance has announced a expropriation lawsuit concerning the construction of an energy transmission line as part of the "Koçyayla Group Energy Transmission Line" project in the Erzurum province's Tekman district. The lawsuit was filed by TEDAŞ General Directorate.

The court has identified specific parcels of land, including their location, cadastral information, registered owners, and the area to be expropriated. This action is being taken under Article 10 of Law No. 2942 on Expropriation, as amended by Law No. 4650, for the determination of expropriation compensation and registration.

Landowners affected by this expropriation have a thirty-day period from the announcement date to file an administrative lawsuit for the annulment of the expropriation process or a lawsuit for the correction of material errors in the judicial process. Failure to provide proof of filing such a lawsuit and obtaining a stay of execution within the specified period will result in the finalization of the expropriation process.

Following finalization, the property will be registered based on the expropriation compensation determined by the court. All defenses and evidence related to the subject matter and the value of the property must be submitted to the court in writing within ten days of the notification date. The determined expropriation compensation amounts will be deposited into T.C. Ziraat Bankası Tekman Branch on behalf of the defendants. Interested parties with claims or objections regarding the expropriated properties are instructed to refer to the court file, identified by Case Number 2026/103.
