Theater experience offers unique skills for actors, says Arfie Shah

Actor Arfie Shah describes his debut stage performance in the theater production 'Tarik Picu' as a pivotal experience that opened doors to new acting techniques. He feels that the unique demands of live theater offer a different perspective on acting compared to screen performances.

Arfie, who has been acting for about three years, accepted the theater offer to gain more experience and refine his skills. He stated that popularity is not his current focus; instead, he aims to use every opportunity to become a better actor. "This is the first theater offer I've received. I've never done theater before, and I'm only about three years into acting, so I'm still very new," he said.

He shared that a significant challenge during rehearsals was mastering voice projection, as he naturally speaks softly. Initially, he felt awkward raising his voice, fearing it might sound like he was scolding someone. "The biggest challenge is that I have to speak loudly because I am a very soft-spoken person," he noted.
