Third edition of Military Discipline Programme begins at MTC

The Military Technological College (MTC) in Muscat Governorate has launched the third edition of its Military Discipline Programme. The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth with support from various military, security, and government entities, commenced today.

More than 1,000 students from different governorates across Oman are participating in the program, which is scheduled to continue until August 19. The curriculum includes lectures on military discipline, first aid, teamwork, leadership methodologies, and military sciences. Awareness lectures are also part of the agenda.

In addition to academic sessions, the program features sports competitions and specialized workshops. These workshops cover topics such as citizenship, national belonging, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. The overarching goal is to cultivate modern leadership thinking and enhance the personal and social skills of the participating students.

The program has seen notable success in its previous two editions over the past two years. Its continuation in 2026 reflects a broader vision focused on developing a generation of conscious Omani youth. The program aims to instill discipline, a spirit of leadership, sincere national belonging, and loyalty to the Sultan.
