Thousands of families to lose power in Lima and Callao on June 26 and 27: check service interruption times

Residents in several districts of Lima and the port city of Callao will face scheduled power outages on June 26 and 27 due to maintenance work by Pluz Energía Perú. The company announced the temporary suspensions as part of efforts to improve the electrical grid.

The planned cuts will impact nine districts across the capital and Callao, including San Juan de Lurigancho, Jesús María, Callao, Los Olivos, San Miguel, Comas, and Breña. The affected areas encompass various urbanizations, settlements, and housing associations, with specific schedules varying by location.

Some disruptions could last as long as 11 hours. For example, in San Juan de Lurigancho, power will be out from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on June 26. Similarly, parts of Jesús María and Callao will experience outages from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., respectively, on the same day.

Other districts like San Martín de Porres and Los Olivos will see shorter outages on Friday, June 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Comas will be affected from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The following day, June 27, parts of San Martín de Porres will again experience power interruptions with varying schedules.
